This AIP  Tapioca Pizza Crust (and Paleo) from The Primordial Table is divine! If you have been searching for an amazing knock-off-your socks kinda recipe then you have come to the right place, because I have found it….the holy grail of allergen free pizza crusts! This crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy in the middle. The middle is also gooey and very similar to the texture of cheese, which was a nice touch.  When I made mine, I added a 1/4 c. of nutritional yeast to give a more cheesy like flavor. I also found that that the longer it is baked the more cracker like the crust becomes (as stated in the recipe), which does make chewing difficult and can give your jaw a workout, so be prepared. This pizza crust was also enjoyed and approved by a non paleo and non AIP compliant person who is gluten and dairy free. They gave it two thumbs up and I hope you will too! Chicken & Olive Oil Garlic Herb Pizza

Servings 2 People

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe Tapioca Pizza Crust from The Primordial Table (link above)
  • 1-2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbs minced garlic
  • dried parsley or other herbs like oregano or basil ; sprinkle on an generous amount to taste
  • 1 chicken breast seasoned (with herbs like parsely/oregano, garlic, and salt), cooked (mine was prepared by grilling), then sliced into strips
  • 1/4 medium white onion sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pizza crust according to directions found at The Primordial Table, but use the toppings used in the amount above.

Recipe Notes

**I added an additional 1/4 c. nutritional yeast to the pizza crust recipe along with a tad bit more water and tapioca starch to reach the desired consistency.

Classic Pepperoni, Sausage, & Onion Pizza

Servings 2 People

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe Tapioca Pizza Crust from The Primordial Table (link above)
  • 1-2 Tbs olive oil optional
  • 1-2 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1/2 c cooked ground compliant pork sausage
  • 5-7 large slices of compliant pepperoni sliced
  • 1/4 medium white onion sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pizza crust according to directions found at The Primordial Table, but use the toppings used in the amount above.
