Baked Spinach Chips

Baked Spinach Chips

These Baked Spinach Chips are light, crunchy, and addicting! Just be careful when handling after baking the spinach as they tend to become brittle. Try with other types of leaves such as beet tops or even kale (click here for a kale recipe I found), which have become quite popular. Who knows, collard greens might even work!

  • Fresh spinach
  • Olive oil, cooking spray or other liquid cooking oil
  • Finely ground sea salt or other seasonings you would prefer

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a bowl lightly coat the spinach leaves with oil and mix gently with your hands. Do not add too much oil or the spinach will not get crisp.
  3. Season with sea salt or other seasonings (it doesn't take much)
  4. Place the spinach on a piece of parchment paper lining a baking sheet. Make sure the spinach leaves are not overlapping each other.
  5. Bake 5-7 minutes or until completely crisp. Make sure to watch carefully.

Recipe Notes

If baking at 400F for 5-7 minutes doesn't work try baking at 325 for 8 minutes or so.
