These Just Like Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies are a spin of the traditional chocolate chip recipe from of course, my Grandma. They are every bit as soft, rich, and delicious but with out the gluten and eggs in the original recipe. In the original recipe the cookies spread out to be thinner, while these do not spread and are more thick, which is a-okay with me. I really do love these otameal cookies and they make the perfect treat any time of the year especially right out of the oven (cooled off slightly of course). One thing is for certain, you can never have too many chocolate chip cookies in your repertoire and in your life. Enjoy!
Using a small cookie scoop scoop out the dough in balls on the prepared cookie sheets. Using the palm of your hand or a large spoon/spatula press the balls flat to about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
