Ingredients

  • 20 oz frozen fruit I used 10 oz frozen thawed strawberries and 10 oz frozen thawed blueberries, thawed
  • 1/3 c coconut sugar or granulated sweetener or choice add more for a sweeter jam
  • Unsweetened applesauce about a 1/2-3/4 c.

Instructions

  1. Place thawed frozen fruit with juices in a 1 quart mason jar along with the coconut sugar.
  2. Blend the fruit and sugar together until smooth with an immersion blender.
  3. Fill the head space of the jar with applesauce until the jar is full. Leave enough space to mix the applesauce into the frozen fruit puree.

Recipe Notes

If the jam is not thick enough for your liking  combine all ingredients (blended together) in a sauce pan and heat to remove excess liquid and water to thicken.
