Strawberry Chia Jam


  • 1 c . or so frozen fruit such as strawberries doesn't have to be exact
  • 2 1/2 Tbs chia seeds
  • 2 Tbs . Steiva
  • 2-4 Tbs water


  1. Let fruit thaw on counter to room temperature or heat in the microwave to thaw. There should be a substantial amount of liquid/water that came off the fruit.
  2. Puree fruit in a blender or food processor until smooth or mash with a fork in a bowl if you like chunky jam.

  3. Mix in chia seeds and stevia and transfer to a container (glass or plastic, a mason jar can also be used).
  4. Let sit for 1 hour in the fridge
  5. Stir in water
  6. Let sit in the fridge until thickened 8-12 hours.
  7. Add more water if desired and let sit until thickened again.
  8. Spread over toast, an English muffin, or where ever you use jam! You can stir it into yogurt and even a bowl of oatmeal with or with out peanut butter!
